Laverne James Cody, 83, of Blackfoot, passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at his home from complications of diabetes and Parkinson's disease.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. in Blackfoot. The family will meet with friends and relatives for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Shelley.
