Pauline Cox "Polly" Calhoun

Pauline "Polly" Cox Calhoun was born Sept. 1, 1930, in Spokane, Wash., and passed away in Boise on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.

She graduated from high school in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. After technical school, she moved to Richland, Wash., where she worked as a dental assistant and X-ray technician.

There she met her husband, Walt, and they raised two sons and a daughter. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1974 and then retired to Boise in 1990 to be near their daughter's children.

Polly is survived by her husband, Walt; two sons, Mike (Maureen) and Steve (Gayle); nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty.

The family would like to thank St. Alphonsus and Life Care of Boise for the care provided Polly for the past two months.

At her request there will no funeral at this time, but possibly a memorial service at a later date.
