Timothy LeRoy Haycock, 34, of Shelley, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, from injuries suffered from a car accident.
Tim was born in Rexburg to Donald G. Haycock and Carla Teressa Jennings on Jan. 8, 1978. Tim attended high school at West Jefferson and graduated in 1996.
He then enlisted in the United States Navy, where he was stationed in San Diego. He served in the Navy for two years.
Tim married Michelle Adams in August 1997 in Shelley, where they lived for many years and raised four children.
Tim has worked various jobs in his life, but his true passion was horses, and he helped to develop that same love to his children. Tim has enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseback riding. Tim loved spending time with his family. Tim received his Eagle Scout award.
Tim is survived by his wife, Michelle Haycock of Shelley; his four children, Taylor, Stedson, Logan and Jaxon; one brother, Dustin (Jessica) Haycock of Miles City, Mont.; two sisters, Carey Sayad of Boise and Jody (Mike) Longie of Idaho Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald G. Haycock and Carla Teressa Vasquez; grandfather, Deral Joseph Haycock; grandmother, June Albertson; and uncles, Cliff Jennings and Richard Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Woodville LDS church, 1555 N. 700 East, with Bishop Mike Hathaway officiating. Burial will follow at Taylor Cemetery in Shelley. Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W. Oak St. in Shelley, and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. Saturday at the church before the service.
