Willis Earl Converse

Willis Earl Converse was called to heaven to join his beloved wife, Carol, on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.

He was born in Idaho Falls on July 4, 1938, the eldest son of Willis C. and Beulah A. Converse.

He married Carol L Leatham on June 1, 1960, in Shelley. Their mar-riage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Dec. 3, 1982.

Willis truly enjoyed being with family and friends and just appreciated life. Willis loved the outdoors; camping, riding four-wheelers and basking in the sun reading. He was an avid reader and was always seen reading a book or even a couple of books at a time.

Willis was a dedicated and faithful member of the LDS church and served in many callings. He was a happy, fun-loving person and was always teasing someone, whether it was a family member or one of his friends. Willis worked hard side-by-side with his wife, Carol, for more than 42 years in the moving industry.

Willis is survived by his children: sons, Doyle (Barbie) Converse and Curtis (Janine) Converse; daughter, Corinna (Clark) Jones; sister, Vera Jo "Shirley" Robinson; and grandchildren, Brooke (Marcus) Frame, Aaron Converse, Joshua (Kelsey) Jones, Dannielle Jones, Hayden Jones, Rebekah Converse, Jacob Converse, Jordan Converse and Sarah Converse. Other survivors include great-grandchildren, Kaden Frame and Berkeley Frame.
