Linda Clegg, 61, of Ammon, formerly of Rigby, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013. She was in the care of DeeOn Waters, the staff and all of her sisters at New Beginnings in Ammon. She was also under the care of Hearts for Hospice.|
She was born Oct. 17, 1951, in Rigby to William Everett Clegg and Gail Southwick Clegg. She was raised in Rigby and attended The Joshua Smith Foundation in Idaho Falls. She worked at Development Workshop in Idaho Falls, and was actively engaged with Special Olympics.
Linda was a very kindhearted, sweet and loving lady; she enjoyed riding horses, bowling, doing latch hook and drinking Coca-Cola.
Linda is survived by her sister, Donna (Steve) Nichols of Oregon City, Ore.; and her brother, Francis Clegg of Reno, Nev.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin brother, Lynn Clegg; and a sister, Betty.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. today, Sept. 7, at Milo Cemetery. A visitation will be held at 3 p.m. prior to services at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main St. in Rigby, for all of her special needs friends. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
