Audrey Van Wagenen Woolley, 84, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013, at Madison Memorial Hospital.
Audrey was born Nov. 10, 1928, in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Harry Ellsworth Gillette and Alice Fay Flacks. She grew up in Salt Lake City, where she attended her schooling, graduating from East High School in 1946. She attended the University of Utah for three years and was affiliated with Alpha Delta Pi. She also attended the LDS Business College for one year. She was employed by the Utah Dairy Council and the Utah National Guard as a secretary and bookkeeper. She moved to Rexburg in l960.
She married Robert Ray Van Wagenen on May 5, 1951, in Las Vegas. He died April 4, 1978. She married Telson Leatham "Mickey" Woolley on June 19, 1983, in San Diego. In 1985, they moved to St. Anthony, where they have since resided. Mr. Woolley died Oct. 10, 2004.
She is survived by two sons, Nathan (Liby) Van Wagenen of San Mateo, Calif., and David Van Wagenen of St. Anthony; a stepdaughter, Susan Woolley of Aspen, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Jed and Scott Woolley and Nicole Van Wagenen.
Besides her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Randy E. Van Wagenen, and a brother, Richard E. Gillette.
Cremation was handled by Bidwell Funeral Home with services to be held at a later date.
