They made their home in Tucson for one year before returning to Idaho Falls, where they have since resided. Blaine worked as production manager for KIFI-TV 8. Eva passed away Jan. 8, 2013.

An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in the ward Bishopric, as a High Councilman, High Priest group leader, ward financial clerk and temple ordinance worker. He enjoyed gardening, golf, fishing, trips to Yellowstone National Park and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
