Clara Virgina Bell Hail, 88, of Moore, Idaho, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the Life Care Center in Idaho Falls.
She was born March 31, 1924, in Antelope Valley, Idaho, the daughter of Alexander Westley Bell and Maude Pauline Cleek. She attended schools in Bell Academy in Antelope Valley and lived most of her life in the Lost River Valley.
On March 20, 1940, she married Virgil Hail.
Clara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, gardening and fishing. She also enjoyed playing pinochle.
She is survived by daughters, Katrina Woodbridge of Arco and Terria Buckland of Idaho Falls; sons, Barry Hail (Sunshine Garner) of Moore and Allen Hail of Rigby; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil; son, Robert "Bob"; and granddaughter, Genalee Contretrus.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the Moore LDS Stake Center with Rick Reynolds conducting and First Counselor Aaron Larson presiding. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at the stake center. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Arco under the direction of Lost River Funeral Home.
