She was born Sept. 13, 1922, in Basalt, Idaho, to Raymond and Alice Frandsen. Her father passed away when she was a year old and her stepfather, Grover Scarbrough, raised her as his own.

Golda attended school in Basalt until she married Dean F. Jolley on June 7, 1938. She was the love of his life and together they had six children.

Golda owned a drapery business, where she was an excellent seamstress and could remake patterns of clothes from catalogs for her children to wear.

She is survived by her sister, Rayola Hirschi of Pocatello; her children, LaDean (Tony) Copeland, Dorene (Neil) Rice, Karen Dayley and Terry (Linda) Jolley; 28 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Golda was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Dean F. Jolley; her daughter, Raya Jean (Ray) Gibson; son, Dean (Melinda) Jolley Jr.; son-in-law, Steve Dayley; and two grandsons, Rob Copeland and Chris Rice.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at Heritage Funeral Home in Spokane, Wash., followed by a graveside service at Pines Cemetery in Spokane Valley, Wash. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
