I am very sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. Jeff was probably my closest childhood chum. In a way, Jeff was a big brother to me, even though we were in the same class. My brother and I and Jeff could and would play "army" or "cowboys" or "star trek" outside for hours at a stretch. Only when mom really started shouting did we reluctantly go back to our respective homes. I really couldn't have had a better friend. Much time has passed since and Jeff and would not cross paths again until about 10 years ago when we litereally ran into each other while doing some holiday shopping. However it is with great happiness that I look back on our childhood times together. John, my family and I loved your son and am so sorry for your loss.
