Kim Andersen, 52, of Rigby, died Friday, March 6, 2009, at Madison Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 20, 1956, in Rigby to Milton Waters Anderson and Mary Ardell Hunsaker Andersen. He attended schools in Rigby and Texas.
Kim plastered pools in various states for work, including Maine, New Hampshire, Texas, New Jersey and California. He enjoyed rock crawling in his truck, fishing, hunting and he loved to restore old cars.
He is survived by the love of his life, Katherine McCann and daughter, Melissa Sue Andersen, both of Edison, N.J.; sisters, Carol Kranz and DaLee Hansen, both of Rigby, Rhonda (David) Simons of Spanish Fork, Utah, Judy (Nathan) Bridges of Rigby, Debbie Johnson of Centennial, Colo.; brothers, Richard (Linda) Andersen, Dennis (Angie) Andersen, Darius (Noreen) Andersen and Gaylen Andersen, all of Rigby. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Pamela Garland; and three brothers, Larry Andersen, Marlen Andersen and Kyle Andersen.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at the Rigby 3rd Ward LDS Chapel, 364 N. 4100 East in Rigby. The family will visit with friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., both at the church.
