M. Jeanie Bingham Obituary

Marilyn Jean Forman Bingham, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family and Hands of Hope Hospice.

Jeanie was born Nov. 22, 1941, in Idaho Falls to Dewey Blaine Forman and Erma Lillian Hienberger Forman. She attended New Sweden Elementary, O.E. Bell Junior High School and gradu- ated from Idaho Falls High School.

On Sept. 15, 1961, she married David Lee Bingham in Idaho Falls. From this union, four children were born.

She worked as secretary at the INEEL, a bookkeeper at B & B Custom Inc. and as a homemaker. Jeanie was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Jeanie enjoyed sewing, fishing, camping and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Jeanie is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, David; sons, Tim (Tammy) Bingham of Shelley, and Cory (Cory) Bingham and Tracy (Michelle) Bingham, both of Idaho Falls; daughter, Michelle (Randy) Cook of Idaho Falls; brother, Duane (JoAnne) Forman of Tigard, Ore.; sister, Dorthy (Dave) Cole of Idaho Falls; stepbrothers, Jerry (Pete) Elliot of Idaho Falls, Danny (Carolyn) Elliot of Rigby and Joe (Beth) Elliot of Idaho Falls; stepsister, Jane (Randy) Brown of Idaho Falls; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Erma and Dewey; stepmother, Marie Forman; and a sister, Pat Barker.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 237 N. Water Ave., with the Rev. Brenda Sene officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., and from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in New Sweden Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
