Pallie Crider Obituary

Pallie Joy Bumgarner Crider passed away Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center due to complications from a stroke.

Pallie was born March 28, 1933, to Lawrence Howard and Annie May Bumgarner in Shelley, the second of seven children.

Her early life was spent growing up in Shelley.

She moved to Fort Benton, Mont., in the mid-1950s. While there, she met Jerry Crider. They were married May 10, 1958, in Fort Harrison, Mont. They later moved to Helena, Mont., where they opened Jerry's Valley Service. Joe was born while they were in Helena. On June 7, 1975, they moved to Shelley, where she has since resided. Jerry died Oct. 13, 1975.

Pallie worked for several years at Lent's Husky and Huntsman's in Shelley.

She is survived by a son, Joe (Michelle) Crider; a daughter, Rose Marie Russell; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean (Bob) Is- aacs and Jackie Schnuckel; and two brothers, Ray (Earlene) Olsen and Ralph (Juanita) Olsen.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sons, Jerry Dean Crider, Billy Russell and Kevin Russell; a sister, JoAnn Hodges; and a brother, Larry Bumgarner.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W. Oak St. in Shelley. The family will meet with friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday, both times at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
