H.L. "Jim" Baugh passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014, in Idaho Falls.
He was born Jan. 29, 1922, in Burley, Idaho, to Horace and Gladys Baugh.
He married Loretta Jeppesen in Anchorage, Alaska, on Oct. 23, 1943. Their children are Judy Lorace Freed, H. Dan (Tami) Baugh, Pat (Rick) Barfuss, Margaret (Gary) Avery and Mary (Butch) Farnsworth. She preceded him in death.
He married Renee Bringhurst on Sept. 15, 1973, and their child is Brevan (Kristin) Baugh.
On July 1, 1994, Jim and Kaye Olsen Hamilton were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan, Utah, temple. She was with him at his passing, and will always be with him. Their children are Ed (Judy) Hamilton, Tammy (Brian) Doney, Jean Holt (Jim Corns), Connie (Laren) Kowallis and Lauri Hamilton. Together they have 47 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren, and counting.
Jim was always an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many callings. He was a veteran of World War II. He enjoyed singing all his life, loved food and cooking, and traveling.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Logan City Cemetery. Your kind thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated, so no tokens or flowers are necessary.
