Russell S. Oliver, 41, of Idaho Falls, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, in Power County, Idaho.
He was born Dec. 14, 1970, to Benjamin Howard Oliver and Novella Phoebe Ward Oliver in Bellsoch, S.D. He attended schools in Emmett, Idaho.
He worked as an HVAC technician.
Russell was a Christian.
He loved the outdoors and hiking. He enjoyed bowling and playing poker, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. His kids were the greatest joy of his life.
He is survived by his partner, Susan Thorney of Idaho Falls; daughters, Hailey Oliver, Jazmine Oliver and Merista Oliver, all of Idaho Falls; sons, Devin Oliver and Jordan Oliver, both of Idaho Falls, and Tyran Oliver of Caldwell, Idaho; mother, Novella (Clarence) Walker of Emmett, Idaho; brothers, Dale (Brenda) Oliver and Leon (Vanessa) Oliver, both of Emmett; and sister, Julie (Richard) Bayes of Vale, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Oliver, and his father, Benjamin.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls.
