Barbara Jean Neumeyer, 70, of Idaho Falls, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born May 3, 1942, to Joseph Howard Ballew and Beatrice Elizabeth Walters Ballew in Jackson, Wyo. She attended school in Jackson.
Barbara has lived in the Shelley and Idaho Falls area for the past 30 years. She worked as a florist, production seamstress and in janitorial services. Barbara enjoyed hunting for rocks, needlework, fishing and floral arranging.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Lee Coons of Idaho Falls and James Kevin Neumeyer of Cheyenne, Wyo.; daughter, Connie Jean Coons Hurley of Enoch, Utah; two grandsons, Michael and Robert Hurley, both of Enoch, Utah; and sister, Beverly Pratt of Denver.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bill Ballew; and a brother-in-law, Hank Pratt.
Graveside services will be held this summer at Aspen Hill in Jackson, Wyo.
