He was born March 7, 1938, to Francis Lyman and Esther Miskin Moser. He graduated Rigby High School and Ricks College.

He married Darlene Marie Briggs on April 18, 1958, in the Idaho Falls Temple. They raised eight children.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served for over 25 years as a Scoutmaster, was a counselor in the Bishopric, a High Priest group leader and a Cub Master. He was an Eagle Scout and received the District Award of Merit for his service with the Scouts.

He worked many years as a chemist, running labs in many potato processing plants. He was also a farmer and truck driver, and if he found a job difficult, he would invent something to make it easier.

Ross had an infectious grin, he loved life and he made life fun when he was around. He loved his family and lived his life for them. He loved music and had a beautiful tenor voice and taught his family to love music.

He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho, and the family requests donations to them in lieu of flowers.
