Larry Edward Webster, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at his home.
He was born Feb. 25, 1941, in Kenton, Ohio. His parents are Ray Webster and Marguerite Ellen Lawrence Webster. He grew up in the area and attended elementary and high school in Grand Rapids, Ohio. He moved to Idaho in the late 1950s.
On July 31, 1959, he married Judy Leona Feely in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Oct. 20, 2010. They lived in Grand Rapids, Ohio, for 15 years before moving back to Idaho Falls in 1981.
While in Ohio, he worked at Johns Mansville. He worked as a leadman and foreman for the city of Idaho Falls Street Department.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching football and especially loved being with his family.
Survivors are his wife, Judy Webster of Idaho Falls; son, Larry E. (Maureen "Mo") Webster Jr. of Idaho Falls; daughters, Penny Coreen Webster-Howe and Julie Ann Plush, both of Idaho Falls; brothers, James (Linda) Webster, Ray Webster and Stephen (Joyce) Webster; sisters, Zella Green and Cathy Webster; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren with one due in September.
He we preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Joan Fitch; brother, Michael Webster; a sister-in-law, Eyleen Webster; and two brothers-in-law, Gail Fitch and David Green.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at the Shelley LDS Woodville 1st Ward, 1555 N. 700 East, with Bishop Hathaway officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., and from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
