Lindy Evans Obituary

Lindy Nichole Evans, 22, of Boise, formerly of Ammon, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at her home in Boise after a lengthy illness.

Lindy was born April 5, 1991, in Idaho Falls, to Michael Camp Evans and Leslie Carol Anderson Evans. She grew up and attended schools in Ammon and graduated from high school one year early. At the time of her graduation, she had already completed her CNA degree and one semester's worth of college credit.

She then attended Idaho State University, where she obtained her certified nursing assistant license, and was currently attending Boise State University. She was actively working towards her degree of becoming an anesthesiologist and always trying to improve her intelligence by constantly learning and reading about new things. Lindy worked as a certified nursing assistant for home health agencies, St. Luke's Hospital and nursing homes in Boise and Idaho Falls.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lindy loved to be outside, listening to music, trying to make others laugh, running through the park with her dog, Harley, camping, playing games and riding motorcycles with her family. She was extremely talented in sports.

She had a wonderful sense of humor that always brought smiles and laughter to those who were lucky enough to know her. She was fun-loving, thoughtful and kindhearted, and that's what drew people to her. She was a hard worker who always went above and beyond what was asked of her and touched many lives of those she came into contact with. She'll be greatly missed by her family! She enjoyed scrapbooking when she could find the time, hanging out with her friends, watching scary movies in the dark, and was obsessed with collecting fleur-de-lis symbols, social networking and keeping up with all her friends' activities.

Lindy is survived by her parents, Michael and Leslie Evans of Idaho Falls; brothers, Devin Michael Evans and Dylan Camp Evans, both of Idaho Falls; sister, Callie Lyn Evans of Idaho Falls; grandparents, Alfred and Sadie Anderson of Idaho Falls; grandfather, Myron Evans of Hamer, Idaho; and boyfriend, Zachary Wall of Boise.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lois Evans, Wendell and Blanche Camp, Leslie and Alice Anderson, Emmett and Cleo Ledbetter; and an uncle, Peter Alfred Anderson Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 19, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery.

Condolences may be sent to the family online at www .woodfuneralhome.com.
