Larry Lee Clark, 78, of Shelley, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 26, 1935, in Poole, Neb., son of Charles and Eloise Clark.
Larry served eight years in the military, serving in both the Army and the Navy.
He married Patricia Rae Hoffman in Denver on Aug. 26, 1963, where they started their family with children James, Colleen and Victoria.
In 1968, the family moved to Idaho while working with Western Airlines, later Delta Airlines. He worked for Delta Airlines until his retirement in 1995, at which time he enjoyed spending time with grandkids, watching airplanes fly by and taking trips to visit family in Nebraska.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Shelley; son, James (Karen) Clark of Shelley; daughters, Colleen (Ned) Southworth of Idaho Falls and Vicki Pincock of Glennville, N.Y.; his two sisters, Jean Clark of Grand Island, Neb., and Jane Douglas of Ravenna, Neb.; one brother, Charles (Margaret) Clark of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, Ron and James.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W. Oak St. in Shelley. The family will meet with family and friends for one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in Fielding Memorial Park in Idaho Falls with military rites by David B. Bleak Post 93 and the Idaho Honor Guard.
