For the family of Rick (Darkwolf) Feltman. This is a quote my grandfather and father told to me by Black Elk, Oglala Sioux (holy man).
The life of an Indian is like the wings of the air. That is why you notice the hawk knows how to get his prey. The Indian is like that. The hawk swoops down on its prey; so does the Indian. In his lament he is like an animal. For instance, the coyote is sly; so is the Indian. The eagle is the same. That is why the Indian is always feathered up; he is a relative to the wings of the air. Great Spirit, Great Spirit,my Grandfather, all over the earth the faces of living things are all alike. Look upon these faces of children without number and with children in their arms, that they may face the winds and walk the good road to the day of quiet. There is no death. Only a change of worlds.

I remember when my sister brought Rick home from the hospital. I moved out of Penna. forty some years ago, and only saw him at weddings and funerals. It makes me so happy to hear that he was loved by so many friends. Love ya, Rick, Aunt Eleanore

My deepest sympathy to all Ricks friends, family, and his wife Laurie. Rick would always make everyone laugh. I had to work the faire but he sought me out and made my day by making me laugh. He knew I was having a rotten day but he ended up making me laugh like a crazy person. He was one I could truely call my buddy. I love you Rick. Rest in peace my friend.

I will always remember Rick for the fun loving one of a kind man that he was. I remember when my 9 year old was first born and instead of gifting us with a stuffed animal or some other baby accessory, he gave her a black leather biker jacket. That was just like him, one of a kind. The world is a much worse off place without him in it. He will be greatly missed. I love you Rick.

A few times a week Rick would take us and his wife Laurie (Brookie) to the races. He would get everyone in the stands hooting and hollering for their favorite racer. He became such icon at the tracks that he would go around with the tracks mascot and hand out tee shirts, stickers, ect. for the kids. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

You may wonder how everything goes on the way it does. How the sun keeps shining, and the stars keep twinkling. It will take time and tears, but your world will feel normal again, and you'll find the comfort in celebrating the memories of the life you all shared with Rick together. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

With my deepest sympathy to all of Ricks friends and family here in CT as well as in PA and Fla, I want you to know that he loved you all so very much. He may not have shown it as often as he should have to all but in confidence he told me how much he loved and missed everyone. Rick enjoyed life to the fullest. He made it a point to make people laugh at all times. He will always live in our hearts and my soul. RIP Rick, I will always love you.
