Balogh, Elziabeth A.* - Pottstown  
Elizabeth A. (Walsh) Balogh, 89, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Parkhouse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Royersford, PA. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael N. Balogh, Sr. of Phoenixville and loving mother of Michael N. and wife Mary Beth (Polen) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Thomas F. and wife Nancy (Labik) of Phoenixville, David S., of Aurora, CO, MariBeth Duffy and husband Brian of Collegeville, and Teresa Reed, widow of Dane Reed of Collegeville. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Barbara E., wife of Richard Whittemore, Exton She was a devoted grandmother to Amy Pastor (Vince) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Stephen Balogh, Aurora, CO, Lauren Apsokardu (Matthew), Honey Brook, PA, Megan E. and Brian T. Duffy both of Collegeville. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Fitzcharles who eased her passing with gentle words and reminiscences of their childhood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas, James, and David Walsh. Libby, as she was known to family and friends was born in Ardmore on December 31, 1926 to Thomas and Margaret (Kelly) Walsh. She was a 1942 graduate of Tredyffrin-Easttown High School. She was employed as a secretary at the Valley Forge Army Hospital until she landed her most rewarding job as full-time, at-home mother. She was a 30-year care giver to her husband after he suffered a massive stroke at age 57. She was a member of St. Ann Parish, Phoenixville, then St. Basil the Great Parish, Kimberton. Libby loved roller skating with her husband for more than 30 years, was a talented organist, and enjoyed reading, hooking rugs, and crochet. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2340 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. A viewing will be held in the church from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM. Condolences may be given at www.GatchaFuneral.com . Basile, Clara M.* - Pottstown  
Clara M. Basile, 80, of Gilbertsville, formerly of Limerick, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, September 23, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Camillo S. Basile, with whom she shared over 33 years of marriage. Born in Conshohocken, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Celeste Malantonio. Clara was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Catholic church in Limerick. She enjoyed flowers and crafts. She was a huge fan of the Phillies and the Eagles and very rarely missed a game. Her true passion was her family and she cherished the times she spent with her children grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed. Clara is survived by her children Richard Basile and his wife LouAnn, Cheryl Rossi, Gina Strizziere and her husband James, Jennifer Natale and her husband Maurizio; grandchildren Ashlee, Derick, Nicole, Rachele, Thomas, Jenna, James, Nicole, Bryana, Racquel, Antonio, Isabella; great grandchildren Gianna, Sophia, Tyler; sisters Rita Grauten and her husband Clayton Chris Gromalski; brothers Michael Malantonio, Carlo Malantonio and his wife Dolly, Nicholas “Junior” Malantonio, Anthony Malantonio; brother-in-law Charles Basile and his wife Linda. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Thomas Basile; sisters Mary Indelicato , Nancy Lutz and brothers Matthew and John Malantonio. Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at 11 AM on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Visitation B.V.M. Catholic Church, 196 N. Trooper Road, Trooper, PA 19430, where a viewing will take place from 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM. Interment will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery. Bechtel Sr., Robert William* - Royersford  
Robert William Bechtel Sr., 79, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2016 in Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Royersford, PA. He was the husband of Marcia Adele (Swank) Bechtel for 51 years. He is also survived by two sons, Robert W. Bechtel, Jr. of East Coventry and Christopher C. Bechtel, of Womelsdorf, and a daughter, Susan (Bechtel) Delaney, wife of John Delaney from Royersford. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Joseph Ryan Delaney, Thomas Michael Delaney and Justin Reis Delaney. Robert was born at home in East Coventry on October 5, 1936; and was a son of the late J. William Bechtel and Irma Mae (Shantz) Bechtel. Surviving are two brothers, John E. Bechtel, of East Coventry and Gene Bechtel, of East Coventry. He also had one late sister, Laura Mae (Bechtel) Dolente, and two late brothers, Thomas Bechtel and Kenneth Bechtel. Robert graduated from Spring City High School in 1954. He then served active duty in the U.S. Army from 1960-1961 and was honorably discharge in 1965. Robert was employed at Jones Motor Co., then Scout Trucking Co., then P-Jax Trucking Co. and finally he worked for 10 years for the Spring-Ford School District before his retirement. Robert was also a member of Bethel United Methodist Church for 54 years. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Bethel United Methodist Church, 952 Bethel Church Road, Spring City, PA 19475 between the hours of 11:00 am and 12:00 pm, following which there will be a funeral service at the church. Officiating will be Rev. Jacqueline A. Hines. Interment with military honors will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s name to the church. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Royersford. Bevan Jr., Allen L.* - Ocean City  
Allen L. Bevan Jr., 88, of Ocean City, NJ passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in the Bridges at Wesley Manor after a brief illness. Born in Phoenixville, PA where he was raised and graduated from Phoenixville Area High School class of 1944. After graduation he joined the United States Navy serving from 1945 until his Honorable Discharge in 1947. Mr. Bevan moved to Ocean City in 1979 and started Bevan Construction, which he owned and operated for over 37 years. He was a member of the Kettle Creek Hunting Club in Eaglesmere, PA, a member of the former Ocean City Lions Club and longtime member of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife Betty (nee Booth) Bevan, son: Allen L. Bevan, III “Jim” and his wife Elaine of Spring City, PA, daughter: Diane L. Radliff and her husband Michael of Eagleville, PA, two step sons: James Nickles and his wife Cris of Marmora, NJ, William Nickles and his wife Camille of Ocean City, a brother: Kenneth Bevan and his wife Gloria of Phoenixville, PA, sister: Connie Weiland and her husband Doug of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, a daughter in law: Wendy Quinn of West Chester, PA, six grandchildren: Christine, Kristin, Kelsey, Cole, Cara, William and five great grandchildren: Tristan, Tailia, James, Luke and Marin. A Service of Memory and Love will be offered Monday, October 3, 2016 at 12 o’clock noon from St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, 8th Street at Central Avenue, Ocean City, NJ where friends may call from 11 o’clock until time of service. Burial will be private in Pennsylvania. Chomnuk, Lisa Ann* - Pottstown  
Lisa Ann Chomnuk, formerly of Pottstown, died September 21, 2016 with her family by her side. Born and raised in Pottstown, Lisa most recently lived at Chester Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing in Malvern. She was a graduate of Pottstown High School. Lisa is survived by her brother Michael and her sister Tamara, both of Pottstown, and her sister Nina and brother-in-law Barry Robertson of Tappahannock, VA. She is also survived by nieces Elizabeth Robertson and Samantha Favinger and nephew Matthew Favinger. She was predeceased by her father Michael Chomnuk and her mother Anne “Nancy” Chomnuk Jones. Lisa loved playing Scrabble and Yahtzee and completing jigsaw puzzles with her family. She was a champion of the underdog who found the beauty and value in every person she ever met. She was active in the American Legion Ladies Auxilliary and served in several offices including chapter president. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 1st, at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home.
