Panoc, Gloria A.* - Pottstown  
Gloria A. (Petzer) Panoc, 88, of Aston, PA, formerly of Pottstown, PA, died on Monday, September 19, 2016, at Crozer Keystone Hospice Residence at Taylor Hospital. Gloria was born May 28, 1928. Gloria was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. Mrs. Panoc was a parishioner at the Church of St. Joseph in Aston, PA. She enjoyed bingo, sewing and baking. Most of all, Gloria cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wife of the late John B. Panoc, Jr., who died in 2006; daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Zueno) Petzer; sister of the late Irene Frock, Elizabeth Philipanics and James Petzer. Survivors include daughters: Cynthia (Joel) Reigart of Pittsgrove, NJ, and Barbara (Joseph) Wojciechowski of West Grove, PA; sons: Brian (Maria Luisa) Panoc of Springfield, PA, and Joseph (Jamie) Panoc of Glen Mills, PA; grandchildren: Joseph (Natalie) Wojciechowski, Jr. of Elkton, MD, David Wojciechowski of Collingdale, PA, Stephanie (Michael) Sullivan of Cinnaminson, NJ, Melissa Kratz of West Grove, PA, Victoria Reigart of Pittsgrove, NJ, Michelle Reigart of Alexandria, VA, Deanna (Jon) Bowers of Monroeville, NJ, Nicole Panoc of Washington DC, Zachary Ashton of Glen Mills, PA; seven great-grandchildren, and sister: Annabelle Skokowski of Pottstown, PA. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 23 at 10:00AM at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd, Aston, PA 19014. Visitation will be held Friday, September 23rd from 9:00-10:00AM at the church. Interment will be private. Pennypacker, Harold A.* - Pottstown  
Harold A. Pennypacker, 96, husband of June M. (Thiel) Pennypacker, of Glenmoore, PA, died Saturday, September 24, 2016 in the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born on September 17, 1920 in East Nantmeal, PA, he was a son of the late Clarence and Ethel Pennypacker. He was a graduate of Warwick High School. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Pennypacker worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for Columbia Gas Company in Chester Springs, PA before retiring in 1986 after 37 years of service. In addition to his wife of 55 years, Mr. Pennypacker is survived by three sons, Harold A. Pennypacker, Jr. of Douglassville, PA, Robert C. Pennypacker of Glenmoore, PA, Thomas W. Pennypacker of Glenmoore, PA; twin daughters, June M. Kocon of Harleysville, PA, Mary E. Pennypacker of Parkesburg, PA; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pennypacker was predeceased by one sister, Mary Rosenberry. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:30 am. Burial will be held in the Coventryville Cemetery, Coventryville, PA. Friends will be received from 10:30 am - 11:30 am Thursday at the funeral home. Perles Sr., Michael R.* - Boyertown  
Michael R. Perles Sr., 92, of Boyertown, formerly of Morgantown, widower of Constance R. Perles and companion of Shirley R. Moyer, died on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016 at Manatawny Manor. Born in Shamokin, he was the son of the late Josephine (Jacko) and John S. Perles. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on a PT Boat in the Pacific Theater. Michael worked as a head miner for 22 years for Bethlehem Steel Grace Mines in Morgantown. Michael was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Gilbertsville. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 537 in Morgantown. He enjoyed cutting fire wood and selling it as a hobby. He also enjoyed traveling. Surviving in addition to his companion of 34 years are two sons, Michael R. Perles Jr., husband of Patricia of Narvon, and Mark M. Perles, of Morgantown; two daughters, Alexa C. Gebhard, wife of William F., of Morgantown, and Michele Cooper of Knoxville, Tenn.; one grandson, Shane; six granddaughters, Courtney, Manda, Michele, Makenzie, Meredith and Margaux; two great-grandsons, Daniel and Max; three great-granddaughters, Constance, Catherine and Molly; two sisters, Justine and Marie and one brother Joseph. He was predeceased by three brothers, Edward, Albert and John. A funeral service was held on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 35 Wilson Ave., Gilbertsville, PA. Burial in Caernarvon Cemetery in Morgantown. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 338, Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Platco Sr., Nicholas L.* - Pottstown  
Nicholas L. Platco Sr., 90, husband of the late Elaine A. (Magyar) Platco, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 peacefully in the home that he built. Born on December 21, 1925 in Mont Clare, PA, he was the son of the late Luke and Susanna (Sabo) Platco. Nicholas was a 1943 graduate of Phoenixville High School. He served as the ship pharmacist in the United States Navy during World War II on the USS General A. E. Anderson. He worked as a Cabinet Maker at Frederick Brothers in Pottstown, PA, retiring after 25 years in 1987, and previously worked 15 years at Bush Brothers in Royersford, PA. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church in Mont Clare, PA. He was a Dart Shooter for 50 years for various clubs. He was a member of the Polish Club, Hungarian Club, Veterans of Foreign War Post 1564, Phoenixville Moose Lodge 1273, American Legion Post 482 in Phoenixville, and also a member of the German Club in Pottstown, PA. Surviving are son, Nicholas L. Platco, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Skippack, PA, daughter, Patricia A. McLaughlin and husband Charles of Audubon, PA, three loving grandchildren, Jennifer, Keli, Ryan, and two great-grandchildren, Kevin Joseph and Sophie Elaine. He was preceded in death by brothers, Luke Platco, Joseph Platco and sister, Ann Boyer. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Amelia and Landis Streets, Mont Clare, PA, on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Mont Clare, PA. A viewing will be held in the church on Monday morning from 9:15 am to 10:15 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, 203 Jacob Street, Mont Clare, PA 19453, or to the Veteran of Foreign War Post 1564, 200 Starr Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
