Graff, Curtis - Kutztown  
Curtis H. Graff, 91, of Kutztown, passed away in the evening hours Sunday, February 15, 2015, of natural causes in his residence. He was the husband of Pauline H. (Moyer) Graff. Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Howard P. & Edna S. (Frey) Graff. He was a Veteran of WWII having served in the Marines; for 44 years was a machine operator for the former Kutztown Foundry later McConway & Torley; was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kutztown; a member of the Kutztown and the Lyons Fire Company; and was the Captain of the former Kutztown Fire Company Golf Team. Curtis loved to golf and to hunt. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Larry C. Graff, husband of Ardele, and Joel S. Graff, husband of Susan, both of Kutztown; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Services and burial in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the Berks Visiting Nurse Assn., 1170 Berkshire Blvd., Wyomissing, PA 19610 or Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 W. Main St., Kutztown, PA 19530. The Edward J. Gramata, James* - Pottstown  
JAMES GRAMATA, 63, OF POTTSTOWN James Gramata, 63, of South St., Pottstown passed away Saturday Feb. 21, 2015 at his residence. Born in Pottstown he was a son of the late Stephen and Helen (Hupcey) Gramata. Jim was employed as manufacturer by the Merc. Corp. and was a member of St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church. Surviving are a brother Stephen J. Gramata, Pottstown and a sister Monica wife of Joseph Perfetto, Pottstown and his beloved nephews Marc and Joseph Perfetto both of Pottstown. A Divine Liturgy will be offered at 11 a.m. Thursday Feb. 26, 2015 in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church 301 Cherry St., Pottstown. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Arrangements by Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, Pottstown.

Hartley, Gerald W.* - Pottstown  
GERALD W. HARTLEY “Wherever I go, whatever I do, I’ll always love and remember you” Gerald W. Hartley passed away suddenly on February 23, 2015 at Reading Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his brother Joseph Hartley and his wife Patricia, his children Gerald R. Hartley, John A. Hartley, Karen and Jeff Creasy (Ryan Hartley and Stevie Creasy) William R. Hartley, Kathleen and Matthew Bilyk ( Kataryna and Aly), Maureen E. Hartley (Abigail O’Panel), Thomas F. Hartley, and James T. Hartley. He is also survived by his endearing cousins, nieces and nephews. He was born on March 5, 1938 in Philadelphia. He attended North Catholic High school. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving 10 years, four years as an Aviation Structural Mechanic, and six years in the Reserves. He was a Union member of Local 19 Sheet Metal Workers. He worked hard during his life to support his family, and to do his best. He was involved with Martial Arts for over 30 years. He held a Sixth degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and taught himself Korean. He loved teaching. He loved his family at Blue Cottage Tae Kwon Do and the Queen City Diner in Reading. Jerry embodied a combination of strength, determination and love. He had a passion for dancing, loved his Doo Wop records, and was still going to his dances up until his death. Jerry was a dedicated father, a wonderful son and brother, a loving uncle and grandfather, and the best kind of friend. He will be sorely missed by his loved ones. His viewing will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at St. Aloysius Church Pottstown PA from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Mass is at 11 a.m. Internment is at Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown PA. Heffner, Colton - Fleetwood  
Colton J. "CJ" Heffner, 24, of Fleetwood, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Reading Hospital. Born March 28, 1990 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of Susan F. (Torres) and Randy R. Heffner, Fleetwood. Colton worked for Amelia's Grocery Outlet, having worked as a Manager in Reading and New Holland. He last worked Saturday, February 14, 2015. He was an avid hiker and enjoyed legos, listening to music, playing Xbox, working on puzzles and especially the Civil War and his family trips to Gettysburg. Colton was a 2008 graduate of Brandywine Area High School and also graduated from Berks Technical Institute with a degree in IT. Surviving in addition to his parents, are a brother, Dakota R. Heffner, Fleetwood, a niece, Ella M. Heffner, his maternal grandparents, Darlene F. (Ohlinger) and Lucas M. Torres, Mertztown, his paternal grandmother, Mary A. (Oswald) Lloyd, Macungie, his cousin, William A. Torres, Mertztown and his uncle, Lucas D. Torres, Mertztown. Colton was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronald H. Heffner. Funeral Services for Colton will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 10:30 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood, PA, with the Rev. Gary L. Walbert, officiating. Interment will follow in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Rockland Twp. A Viewing will be held Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the funeral home. Heintz, Louis S.* - Green Lane  
LOUIS S. HEINTZ, SR., 93, OF GREEN LANE Louis S. Heintz, Sr., 93, husband of Erna G. (Wiessener) Heintz, of Green Lane, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Pennsburg Manor. Born in Perkiomenville, he was a son of the late Julius and Lydia (Karrow) Heintz. He was a self-employed well driller for over 67 years operating Louis Heintz Well Drilling, Inc. He also worked for J.W. Rex in Lansdale as a millwright for 28 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and loved to hunt. Surviving in addition to his wife of 67 years are five children, Louis S. Heintz, Jr. and wife, Carol of Spring Mount; Shirley Adams and husband, Jeffrey of Florida; Jerry Heintz and wife, Judith of Northampton; Judy Fitzgerald of Barto and William "Billy" Heintz of Green Lane; a brother, William Heintz and his wife, Helen of Telford; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Julius "Squeek" Heintz and a sister, Virginia Miller. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1244 St. Paul's Church Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with Rev. William A. Vanderslice officiating. Burial follows in the church cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday evening, March 2, 2015 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 and also from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
