Loomis, Robert E.* - Pottstown  
ROBERT E. LOOMIS, 79, OF POTTSTOWN Robert E. Loomis, 79, of Pottstown, PA, husband of Carol A. (Salisbury) Loomis, died Thursday, August 27, 2015 at his residence Born in Forks Twp., Northampton Co., he was a son of the late Floyd and Helen (Hess) Loomis. Mr. Loomis was a 1957 graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was employed as a Bridge Design Engineer with the former Bob McKinney engineering. He was a member of St. Paul’s Church, Stowe and was a member of the church consistory. He was a former member of Trinity Reformed UCC where he was a church elder as well as president of Consistory. Mr. Loomis was a member of Stichter Masonic Lodge #354 F&AM, Pottstown. He was an avid bowler, bowling in the senior leagues at Jay Lanes and Limerick Bowl, and the church league at Jay Lanes. He was also an avid hunter and fly fisherman. Mr. Loomis was a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Robert D. and wife Pamela L. Loomis, Pottstown, and Matthew J. and wife Joan “Joanie” Loomis, Douglassville; three daughters, Sally A. Bechtel, Spring Hill, FL; Julie A., wife of Ronald Umstead, Pottstown and Pamela E. Loomis, wife of Doyal Harrell, Columbus, GA; 12 grandchildren, Joshua, Holly, Christopher, Weston and his wife, Amanda, Carly, Zach, Connor, Christopher, Matthew, Mallory, Wyatt and Mackenzie, and three great-grandchildren, Angel, Peter and Nikolas. He was predeceased by two sisters, Grace Nyce and Ruth Sandi. There will be a viewing on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Church, 653 Glasgow St., Stowe. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Officiating will be Reverend Lenn Zeller. Inurnment will be private in Highland Memorial Park with Reverend Don Eisenhauer Hospice Chaplain. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to St. Paul’s Church. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA. Marchetti, Brian* - Boyertown  
Brian R. Marchetti, 50, of Boyertown, passed away Thursday at his residence surrounded by family. Born in Pottstown, Pa., he was the son of Edward R. Marchetti and Betty J. (Sabo) Marchetti. He was a graduate of the class of 1983 from Boyertown High School. Out of high school, Brian was employed by the Eastern Foundry for 14 years and then moved on to work for EP Henry as a forklift operator for 7 years. He was currently employed at East Penn Manufacturing DEKA for the last 4 years also operating a forklift. Brian was a member of the Reading Motorcycle Club as well as the Bechtelsville Rod and Gun Club. He loved hunting, fishing, and driving his motorcycle. Brian was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan which led to many friendly "fun fights" between his sister, Brenda, an Eagles fan, on game day. In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by one brother, Edward J. Marchetti; one sister, Brenda L. Shultz, wife of Phillip E. Shultz Jr. of Parker Ford; his loving girlfriend, Barbara; nieces and nephews, Autumn, Savanah, Xavaian, Ciera, Candice, Kelsey, and Taylor; and great nieces and nephew, Madison, Ava, and Brian. Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial service on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Morrell Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown. An evening viewing will be held Friday, Aug. 28, 2015 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Brian's memory to the American Cancer Society, 498 East Bellevue Avenue, Reading, Pa., 19605.

McIntire, William* - Gresham  
William "Bill" Yeutter McIntire died on Aug. 10, 2015 in Gresham, Ore. at the age of 86. He was born on March 21, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pa., to William and Edythe (Engler) McIntire. In 1946 Bill graduated from Frankford High School. Later he earned his B.S. degree in chemistry at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1946-1948 where he was an X-Ray technician. Bill first married Joyce Mae Drummond on Oct. 17, 1953 in Bustleton, Pa. Joyce died in 1991. In 2001 Bill married Betty Mannix in Pennsylvania. Bill worked for 25 years in marketing sales at Cochran division for the Crane Company. He was a member of the Lions organization. He was a Lutheran. He enjoyed music by playing the piano and organ and singing in the choir. He also enjoyed traveling, woodworking, gardening and feeding animals. Bill is survived by his loving wife Betty, of Gresham, Ore.; daughter, Debra Lee McHugh, Hatfield, Pa.; son, Scott Gregory McIntire, Felton, Del.; daughter, Brenda Jacqueline Clarke, Limerick, Pa.; son, Eric William McIntire, Chicago, Ill., and three more daughters, Deborah Ann Peters, Troutdale, Ore.; Linda Louise Artman, Spring City, Pa., and Betty Anne Grillo, Venice, Fla.; son, Tom E.Mannix Jr. Spring City, Pa.; sister, Mary Anne May, Warminster, Pa.; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to either Signature Hospice, 7632 SW Durham Rd. Suite 130, Tigard, OR 97224 or to the Alzheimer's Association. Services will be held at Limerick Garden of Memories Cemetery in Limerick, Pa. No services in Oregon.

McPherson, Elizabeth D.* - Pottstown  
ELIZABETH D. MCPHERSON, 77, OF POTTSTOWN Elizabeth D. (Haught) McPherson, 77, of Pottstown, widow of Charles J. McPherson, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at her daughter’s residence. Born in Lumberport, WV, she was a daughter of the late William E. Haught and the late Thelma (Leonard) Haught. She is survived by a son, Charles J. McPherson III and his wife Kathy, Sanatoga; two daughters, Joyce A. wife of Ken Weber, Pottstown, and Sharron D. wife of Paul Avans, Reading; a brother, Charles L. Haught, North Coventry Twp.; a sister Nancy D. Bertles, Pottstown; seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, William E. McPherson; a brother, Vernon E. Haught, and a sister, Janet Sharron Handus. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. on Friday from Highland Memorial Park, 701 Farmington Ave., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Steven DeFrain. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be no viewing. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA. Mohrey, Barbara A.* - Bechtelsville  
BARBARA A. MOHREY, 78, OF BECHTELSVILLE Barbara A. Mohrey, 78, of Bechtelsville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 23, 2015. The same date would have marked her 57th wedding anniversary to her late husband Richard Mohrey. Born in Lancaster, July 12, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Arlene Benner. Barbara began her career as a lab technician at Lancaster General Hospital and later continued for many years at Grandview Hospital in Sellersville. Barbara had a gift for baking and cooking, something she truly loved to do then share with friends and family. She was an accomplished gardener who loved flowers and nature. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting Greece, Ireland and Jamaica. She took a hands-on approach to various activities in her community and was very caring and helpful to others. Her children and grandchildren were her top priority and she cherished the times they spent together. She will be greatly missed. Barbara is survived by her children Kimberlie J. Mohrey and her husband Richard Brown, Sharon K. Hughes and her husband James, Michael A. Mohrey and his wife Tina, Erik G. Mohrey and his wife Sarah; grandchildren, Ruby Brown, Connor Hughes, Elliott Dice, Brittany Wise and Michaela Mohrey; great-grandchildren Brianna, Nykolas, Dylan, Logan and Jayden, and her sister Lois McVey. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Kevin Mohrey, her grandson Cody Mohrey and her daughter-in-law Michele Mohrey. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, September 13 at 2 p.m. at the Spring Valley Village Community Center in Bechtelsville. Family and friends are invited to attend.
