Arlene M. Reppert, 86, of Topton, died Jan. 16, 2014, in the Lutheran Home at Topton, where she was a resident since 2012. She was the widow of Harley A. Reppert, who died Feb. 16, 1993.
Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Mahlon E. and Mabel M. (Geisinger) Fritch.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown.
Mrs. Reppert was an employee of the United States Postal Service, working two years in Mertztown and 18 years in Kutztown, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Kutztown Grange and the Pioneer Grange, Topton.
Survivors: Son, David A., husband of Cheryl A. (Manwiller) Reppert, Mertztown; brother, Nevin E. Fritch, Palm Harbor, FL; granddaughters, Chelsea M. (Reppert) wife of Ian A. Mondrick and Alison R. Reppert Gerber wife of Stephanie A. Reppert Gerber; great grandson, Liam D. Mondrick.
She was pre-deceased by a brother, Edward M. Fritch.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 50 Luther Drive, Mertztown, with Reverend Jeremiah A. Sassaman officiating. Interment will follow in Longswamp Union Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Sunday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis Street, Topton, and Monday 10 to 10:30 a.m. in the church.
