Arthur J. Meitzler Jr.

ARTHUR J. MEITZLER JR., 82, OF SPRING CITY Arthur J. Meitzler Jr., 82, of Spring City, companion of Judy K. White, died Saturday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Hereford, he was a son of the late Arthur J. Meitzler, Sr. and Ida (Dierolf) Meitzler. He worked for C.S. Garber & Sons in Boyertown as a plumber for many years, he also worked at Martin Stone Quarries in Bechtelsville as a dump truck driver. Arthur served in the Army during Korea. He was a member of Pike Township Sportsmen's Association. Arthur was an avid hunter and always enjoyed helping others with his handyman skills. Surviving in addition to his companion are two sons, Allen Meitzler of Boyertown and Dennis Meitzler, husband of Brenda of Boyertown; one daughter, Ronna, wife of Douglas Hunter of Bechtelsville; five grandsons, Matthew, Mark, Michael, Jasen and Cole; seven great-grandchildren, Bailey, Nathan, Connor, Aubrey, Hunter, Jeremiah and Alyssa; one brother, William Meitzler; five sisters, Florence Gilbert, Mabel Hess, Ruth Moyer, Edith Moyer and Anna Mae Endy, and his girls, Princess and Angel. He was predeceased by one son Dean A. Meitzler and two brothers Edward and Percy Meitzler. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Brownback's Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his name to a .
