AURELIA WEISS, 92, OF POTTSTOWN Aurelia (Wille) Weiss, 92, of Pottstown, widow of Adam Weiss, passed away on Wednesday at Manatawny Manor, East Coventry Twp. Born in Marcinkowo, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Gustav Wille and the late Mathilde (Suss) Wille. Mrs. Weiss immigrated from Germany with her daughter in December 1951. She lived in Delaware Water Gap, and upon marriage, moved to Pottstown in 1955. Aurelia worked as a seamstress at Sunset Manufacturing Co. from 1955-1984, when she retired. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pottstown. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Lucie Wille, two stepdaughters Elsie Breitkreutz, Boyertown, Reimunda Kulp, Pottstown; three grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Albert Weckwert, two daughters Ingrid wife of Robert Moses and Annalieze Weckwart, two brothers Emil Wille and Adolf Wille, six sisters Natalie Schulz, Wanda Krueger, Hildegard Krenz, Elsa-Marta Wille, Alice Pubantz, Marlene Wille, and a stepson Joseph Weiss. Mrs. Weiss was loved by all of those who knew her, and is remembered for her humility, love for others, and an amazing attitude of gratefulness, contentment in the Lord, and appreciation of life, despite her own life being filled with hardship and loss. She is missed greatly. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Susan Folks. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. There will be a viewing Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
