Bertha T. Dadey

BERTHA T. DADEY, 95 Bertha T. (Bahr) Dadey, 95, formerly of Birdsboro, died October 10, 2012 in Berkshire Center. Her husband Albert J. Dadey, Sr., died in 1970. Born in Plymouth, PA, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (Dargel) Bahr. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School. Bertha was employed by Western Electric for 28 years retiring in 1982. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Birdsboro. When Bertha was younger she enjoyed horseback riding. She loved the casinos, going to the beauty salon, spending time with her family especially her great-grandchildren, family picnics, going out to eat and Ageless Harmony. She was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan, going to the "Locker Room" in Exeter Twp. for all the Eagles games. She is survived by her children, Gloria D., widow of Kenneth Wyville, Henderson, TX; Albert J, husband of Janie Dadey, Reading, and Helen M., wife of Michael G. Sochko, West Lawn, with whom she previously resided. There is one sister, Florence, wife of Stephen Milshaw, Reading. Seven grandchildren, Bridgette, Kristie, Richard, Theresa, Kenneth, Carrie and Clarke, and 12 great-grandchildren also survive her. Bertha was also survived by many nieces and nephews including her goddaughter, Susan Bolognese, Reading. She will be missed by her cats, Mittens, Poncho, Rufus and Taz. She was predeceased by two brothers, Ted Bahr and Bernard Bahr. "My mom was a great friend, mother and grandmother whom we loved deeply and will be dearly missed." daughter Helen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading and Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Contributions may be made to: Animal Rescue League, P.O.
