CODY A. MOHREY, 17, FORMERLY OF BUCKTOWN Cody A. Mohrey, 17, of Tionesta, PA, formerly of Bucktown, PA, died on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in Tionesta. He was born July 13, 1995 in Bucktown, son of Michael A. and Tina M. (DiNardo) Mohrey with whom he resided with in Tionesta. Cody just graduated from the Tidioute Charter School where he was a member of the Civil War Club, the Basketball Team, the Trap Team where he lettered, and also loved to play the guitar. He just finished his credentials to receive his Eagle Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America local Troop #82 in Tionesta. He, with his family, attended the Tionesta Christian Missionary Alliance Church. In addition to his parents, Cody is survived by a brother, Elliott Dice and his wife Becky of Gilbertsville, PA; two sisters, Brittany Dice and her significant other Zach Wise, of Phoenixville, PA.; Michaela A. Mohrey and her significant other William Scherer of Kellettville, PA; his paternal grandmother, Barbara Mohrey of Bechtelsville, PA; his maternal grandmother, Ida Faith Guldin of Spring City, PA; four nephews, Nykolas, Logan, Dylan and Jayden; niece Brianna, and many cousins. Also surviving are the following aunts and uncles, Tony and Liz DiNardo; Mario and Cheryl DiNardo Jr.; Lloyd and Mona Knauer; Jim and Sharon Hughes; Richard Brown and Kim Mohrey; Erik Mohrey. Cody left with a strong bond with his canine companion, Jack. Cody was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Mohrey; his maternal grandfather, Mario DiNardo Sr., and one aunt, Michele Mohrey. Friends will be received at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Tionesta Christian and Missionary Alliance Church at 2 p.m. with Pastor James R. Evilsizor officiating. A fellowship lunch will follow the services at the church.
