CORINNE MEYER, 89, PHOENIXVILLE Corinne (Cote') Meyer, 89, loving wife of the late Gustave C. Meyer Jr. of Phoenixville, died on Wednesday, March 7, in the Sanatoga Center, Sanatoga. She was born in Madawaska, Maine, a daughter to the late Felix and Anna (Cyr) Cote'. Her French Heritage can be traced back to Jean Cote who immigrated to Canada in 1634 and shortly there after settled on the island of Orleans in the St. Lawrence River. Corinne resided in Phoenixville since 1955, moving from Hartford, CT. A graduate of High School in Hartford and Nursing School, she was employed as a Registered Nurse for many years. Corinne was a Nurse at Phoenixville Hospital for over 22 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Centennial Lutheran Church in Kimberton and a member of the Schuylkill Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and Boca Raton Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the Debbie Rand Memorial Service League and volunteered at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. She is survived by daughters, Carolyn Haley of Royersford and Mary Lou Francis, wife of David; a son, Gustave C. Meyer III of Phoenixville; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Leona, Celina and Cecile, and brothers, Zenas, Camille, Ferdinand, Jerome and Adrian. Her Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 17, at 11 a.m. at the Centennial Lutheran Church. The Rev. D.J. Lura will officiate. A private burial will be held at Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held Saturday at the church from 10-10:45 a.m. Memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the James E.
