CORNELIUS A. GALLAGHER, 51, OF GILBERTSVILLE Cornelius A. "Reds" Gallagher, 51, of Gilbertsville, husband of Brenda A. (Lassen) Gallagher, passed away on Wednesday, January 2 at Fox Subacute Clara Burke in Plymouth Meeting with his wife and family at his side. Born in Lansdale, he was the son of Mary Ellen (Lundgren) Gallagher and the late Charles Gallagher. Neal was a member of New Hanover Lutheran Church in Gilbertsville and the F & AM Lodge #4069 in Coopersburg. He worked at Shields Construction in West Chester as a superintendant for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his family. Surviving with his wife of 24 years is daughter Emily and sons Justin and Torry Gallagher; grandson Christopher; his brothers Michael Gallagher, husband of Bente and Dan Shive, husband of Heather; sisters Kathleen and Colleen Gallagher; and step sisters Maggie, Julie, Cindy. A funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 11, 11 A.M. at New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2941 Lutheran Road, Gilbertsville, with Rev. Thomas M. Lang officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 11 from 9:30 to 10:45 A.M. at the church. Burial will be private. Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 1020 E. Phil.
