Dominic Cammarano

Dominic A. Cammarano, 79, passed away May 9, 2013 in his Blandon residence.
He was the husband of Patricia A. (Melcher) Cammarano, whom he married 53 years ago on May 7, 1960.
Born in Hazelton, he was a son of the late Nicola A. and Maria (DeBlasi) Cammarano.
Dominic attended Hazelton High School and graduated from Reading Night School.
He was a cutter for Diamond Brothers and retired from H. Oritsky Inc., in 2002 after 30 years of service.
Dominic was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, Hyde Park.
Dominic was an avid NASCAR fan and especially liked Tony Stewart. He enjoyed playing poker and other card games and watching sports games on TV.
He was also a member of the Oddfellows.
Dominic was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children: Lynn A., wife of S. Kent Maready, Leesburg, Fla.; Nick A. Cammarano, husband of Marc V. Stasko, Breinigsville; Joe A., husband of Connie M. Cammarano, Blandon and Stuart A., husband of Kathy L. Cammarano, Sinking Spring. Also surviving are his brother, Joseph P., husband of Anna Cammarano, Reading and his sister, Antoinette Forliano, Hazelton. Five grandchildren: Nicole, wife of Sean; Jessica, wife of Jonathan; Samantha, Joey and Matt as well as one expected great-grandson, Sean, Jr., also survive him.
Dominic was predeceased by three sisters: Anele Tamone, Rose Potera and Maureen Fellin.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated Tuesday, May 14, at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605. Viewings Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
