Dorothy L. Swavely

DOROTHY L. SWAVELY, 83, OF SANATOGA Dorothy L. (Bryan) Swavely, 83, of Sanatoga, widow of Earl E. Swavely, Sr., died Monday at Sanatoga Court. Born in Douglassville, she was a daughter of the late Harry Bryan and the late Martha (Pickar) Bryan. She worked in production at Recticon until her retirement in 1993. Mrs. Swavely was a member of Coventry Church of the Brethren, was an avid bingo player, loved to cook, and loved her grandchildren very much. She is survived by two sons, Earl E. Jr., husband of Debbie Swavely, Pottstown, and Kenneth R., husband of Becky Swavely, Pottstown; two sisters, Mabel LaBelle, Pottstown, and Evelyn Augustine, Pottstown, and three grandchildren, Earl E. Swavely III, Matthew Swavely and Kristen Swavely. She was predeceased by a daughter and 18 brothers and sisters. Graveside Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday from Highland Memorial Park, 701 Farmington Ave., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Sandford Christophel. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be no viewing. Contributions may be made in her memory to Inspiris Hospice 700 American Ave., Suite 206, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
