Edwin G. Ingersoll Jr.

EDWIN G. INGERSOLL JR., 72, OF EXTON Edwin G. Ingersoll Jr., 72, of Exton, PA, died peacefully on September 23, 2013 with family by his side. He was born in Philadelphia where he spent his early years. After moving to Altoona, he graduated from Altoona High School and attended St. Edwards University in Texas. Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving 10 years in Naval Intelligence. He was an employee of PECO and retired in 1995. He was a member of the NRA, a lifelong member of the Boy Scouts of America and an Eagle Scout. He was an avid hunter and gardener with a strong love of nature. Dear partner of Dolores D. Hagerstrom, loving father of Edwin III (Diane), Mark (Joanne), Matthew Ingersoll and Mary Margaret Henning. Brother of Thomas (Barbara) and Donald Sr. (Kathi) Ingersoll. Also survived by his grandchildren; Amelia, Sophia, Lilliana, Morgan, Christopher, Kaylee, and Isabella. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Saturday 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. followed by funeral Mass 11 a.m. at St. Ann's R.C. Church, 502 S. Main St., Phoenixville, PA 19460. Int. Private.
