Elizabeth Jane Cantafino

ELIZABETH JANE CANTAFIO, 79, OF EAST NORRITON Elizabeth Jane (Sabol) Cantafio, of East Norriton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday November 4, 2012. She was 79 years old. Born January 19, 1933 in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Michael G. and Elizabeth A. (Vovcsko) Sabol and the beloved wife of the late Tito Cantafio. Elizabeth earned the honor of being selected as the Salutatorian for the graduating Class of 1950, Phoenixville High School. She worked as an Executive Assistant for Kettelle & Wagner in Malvern, and then later for Daniel H. Wagner & Associates in Paoli. Elizabeth was the bookkeeper for Berwyn Pharmacy, which her husband Tito owned. Elizabeth had many hobbies and talents, some of which were, gardening, swimming, cooking, birds and bird watching (the cardinal was her favorite bird), puzzles, couponing and shopping. She enjoyed playing scrabble with her daughter, Elizabeth, and watching the Eagles. More than anything else she loved her dachshund, Chili, and spending time with her family. Elizabeth is survived by her three children, Tito M. (Cheryl) of East Norriton, Dr. Elizabeth J. Cantafio of Philadelphia and Diana L. Interrante (Joseph R.) of East Norriton, and her cousin Nancy Pinelli. She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Alice Sabol. Relatives and friends are invited to Elizabeth's Life Celebration service on Thursday November 8, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Boyd-Horrox of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 1-800-GIVNISH. There will be no viewing Friday morning. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Saviour Church 407 E. Main St. Norristown.
