Frances Leibensperger

Frances L. (Greiss) Leibensperger, 82, of Alburtis, died June 14, 2013 in The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she was a patient one day. She was the widow of Clarence J. Leibensperger, Jr. who died May 19, 2009.
Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Pearl N. (Kemp) Greiss.
Mrs. Leibensperger was a member of the Reformed Congregation of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis.
Mrs. Leibensperger retired from Air Products & Chemicals, Trexlertown, where she had worked twelve years in the company kitchen. Prior, she also worked at the former Keith Knitting Mill, Mertztown. Frances was a member of Kutztown Grange #1836, Lyons Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and Pike Township Sportsmen's Association.
Survivors: Daughter, Nancy F. (Leibensperger), widow of David H. Peters, Topton, fiancé of Walter R. Adams, Hamburg; son William J. Leibensperger, companion of Susan D. (Cooper) Gordon, Summit Station, Schuylkill County; sister, Ruth M. (Greiss) wife of Leroy K. Leibensperger, Alburtis, brothers, Earl, husband of Lorraine Greiss, Mertztown, and Melvin, husband of Norma Greiss, Alburtis. There are also two grandchildren, Erin R. Gauker and Matthew D. Peters, and four great grandchildren, Emily R. Gauker and Garrett D. and Kaitlyn A. Peters and Dylan J. Gauker. She was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Greiss.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 18, at 11 a.m. from Huff's Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, with The Reverend Jane M. Kropa officiating. Private inurnment will be in Huff's Union Church Cemetery, Alburtis. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
