Frances M. (Skokowski) Kijak

Frances M. (Skokowski) Kijak, 84, formerly of Pottstown, wife of Frank T. Kijak, Royersford, died Friday at Parkhouse Providence Pointe, Royersford.
Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Frank R. and Julia (Rutkowski) Skokowski. Mrs. Kijak was employed as a secretary for 60 years with The Hill School of Pottstown. She was a member of the former Saint Peter's Catholic Church and currently a member of Saint Aloysius Catholic Church. She enjoyed attending and dancing at the Polka Festival held at Sunnybrook.
Surviving in addition to her husband is one brother Edward S. Skokowski and his wife Annabelle, Pottstown; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother Joseph J. Skokowski.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. Burial will be in Saint Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Twp. There will be a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
