Frank J. Monzo

Frank J. Monzo, 56, of Collegeville, passed away Feb. 16, 2013 at Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia. He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen (Keil) Monzo.
Born Jan. 25, 1957 in Lansdale, Frank was a son of the late Francis A. and Rose (Donato) Monzo.
Frank was a graduate and senior class president of Lansdale Catholic High School, Class of 1975. He attended LaSalle University, where he earned a B.S. in finance in 1979 and went on to serve as vice president of portfolio management for CIT Corporation in New Jersey.
Mr. Monzo was a member of St. Mary's in Schwenksville, and he loved coaching sports for St. Mary's and Central Perkiomen. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and also enjoyed golfing.
Above all else, Mr. Monzo cherished being a husband and father. He will be greatly missed by his family.
In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by a son, Frank A. Monzo, of Collegeville, two sisters, Angela M. Bresadola, and her husband, Andrew, of Harleysville, and Marianne Monzo, of Harleysville, and his brother, Joseph P. Monzo, and his wife, Mary, of Flourtown. He is also survived by his aunt, Marie Donato, of Lansdale, as well as his nieces and nephews.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at St. Mary's Church, 40 Spring Mt. Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473, where friends may greet the family after 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
