GENNEVIEVE M. NIARHOS, 92, OF EAST PIKELAND Gennevieve M. (Ihle) Niarhos, 92, wife of the late Constantine "Gus" Niarhos, of East Pikeland, PA, died on Thursday, February 6, 2014 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Hospital. Born in Haynes, ND, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Valeria (Reihl) Ihle. Gennevieve served as a WAVE in the United States Navy during World War II. She worked as a Activities Aide for Pennhurst State School in Spring City until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Spring City, PA. Surviving are sons, James husband of Susie Niarhos of Harrisonburg, VA, and John husband of Robin Niarhos of Limerick, PA; daughter, Mary Ingram of Spring City, PA; four grandchildren: Wesley Niarhos; Laura Niarhos; Ann Gauger, and Thomas Niarhos; three great-grandchildren: Magnolia Gauger; Thomas Niarhos, and Jaxon Garvey, and a sister, Dorothy Neal. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Niarhos and her sister, Matilda Kay. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Relatives and Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA 19475.
