George W. Buck

GEORGE W. BUCK, 70, OF NORTH CAROLINA George W. Buck, 70, husband of Maureen (Mullaney) Buck, died Saturday, in North Carolina. He was a former resident of Collegeville and Perkiomen Twp. Mr. Buck was born on November 15, 1941, in Pottstown, and was a son of the late Wilmer K. Buck and the late Ruth (Swendt) Stevenson. He was a graduate of Collegeville - Trappe High School. Before he retired and moved to North Carolina, Mr. Buck was a salesman and receiving manager for the Handy & Harman Tube Co., E. Norriton Twp. Mr. Buck was a former member of the Skip-Perk Jaycees, the Collegeville Lions Club, and Warren Lodge #310, Free & Accepted Masons, Collegeville. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing adult league softball. In addition to his wife, Mr. Buck is survived by his children, Abbe B., wife of Samuel A. Coroniti, II, W. Vincent Twp., and Brook G., husband of Melissa (Stephens) Buck, Upper Frederick Twp.; his grandchildren, Grae B. Buck, Keegan T. Buck, Samuel A. Coroniti, III, and Augustus B. Coroniti; and his brother, Edward N., husband of Cheryl (Page) Buck, Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by his brother, William K., husband of Margaret "Mickey" (Bush) Buck, Amity Twp. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Sunday, at the Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Main St., Trappe. A private graveside service, with the Rev. Dr. Martha B. Kriebel, Pastor Trinity Reformed Church, UCC, Collegeville, officiating, will be held in the Trinity Reformed Cemetery.
