GEORGE WILLIAM 'CRACKER' LEISTER George William "Cracker" Leister, 63, of Ironstone Drive, Boyertown passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 in his residence. Born in Norristown he was the son of the late Edith (Wood) and George L. Leister. He was a certified welder in spot welding in the Bechtelsville area, last working in 1995. He also repaired TV's and lawn mowers and enjoyed going fishing. He was a member of the Boyertown American Legion. Cracker is survived by two sisters, Judy, wife of Donald Byerly of Bellefonte, PA, and Sandy, wife of Neil Schwoyer of Green Lane, PA; four brothers, Henry, husband of Pat Schosser of Bernsville, NC; Jerry, husband of Mary Ann Leister of Boyertown; Calvin, husband of Carol Leister of Boyertown, and Barry, husband of Kathy Leister of Palmerton, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Bob Haines and John Leister, and a sister, Betty Snyder. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, October 26, 2012 in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA. Reverend John G. Pearson will officiate. A viewing will be Friday between 9:30 - 11 a.m. in the mausoleum. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
