Grace I. Bentz

Grace I. Bentz, 93, formerly of Sinking Spring and a resident of Luther Acres since 2008, passed away April 28, 2013 in Hospice & Community Care of Lancaster where she was a patient for one week. She was the wife of LeRoy E. Bentz who passed away October 5, 1995. She was born September 30, 1919 in Rehrersburg, a daughter of the late Henry and Molly (Wagner) Brown.
She is survived by two daughters Carole L. (Bentz) wife of Richard A. Imgrund of Leesport and Nancy B. (Bentz) wife of Thomas M. Herrmann of Newmanstown; 5 grandsons Alan and James Imgrund and Daniel, Kyle and Timothy Herrmann; 3 great grandchildren Alexandra, Jeremy and Brian Imgrund; two sisters Pearl (Brown) Spitler of Womelsdorf and Laura (Brown) Cathey of The Villages, FL. Grace was predeceased by a sister Helen (Brown) Stoltz and a brother Carl Brown.
Mrs. Bentz was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Sinking Spring where she volunteered at the soup kitchen, Bible School and candy making as well as other activities.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 4125 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, PA 19608.

Visitation:
Friends and relatives will be received Monday 9:45 to 10:45 AM in the church.

Service:
Services will be Monday May 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM in St. John's Lutheran Church, Sinking Spring. Rev. Thomas H. Reinsel will officiate.

Cemetery:
Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
