JENNIFER ANNE MOYER-DAMIANI, 34, OF POTTSTOWN Jennifer (Jen) Anne Moyer-Damiani, 34, of Pottstown, passed away at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center on September 18, 2013. She was born November 16, 1978 to Timothy J. and the late Tina M. (Mumbauer) Moyer. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Joseph M. Damiani, maternal grandmothers, Grace I. Schollenberger of Topton and Barbara Mumbauer of Allentown, paternal grandmother, June C. Moyer of Gilbertsville, her "sisters," Emily M. Howard of Red Lion, PA and Christine M. Taylor of Fredericksburg, VA, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jennifer was predeceased by her mother, paternal grandfather Harold W Moyer, maternal grandfather Donald Mumbauer, infant brother, and infant sister. Jennifer was a 1996 graduate of Boyertown Area Senior High School, earned a Bachelor's of Science in biology from Wilson College in 2000, a Master's of the Arts in United States history from West Chester University in 2006 and an Associate's Degree in Funeral Services in July of 2013 at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. She was employed as a lab technologist at GlaxoSmithKline, Collegeville, PA, since November 2001. Jennifer was also employed by Morrell Funeral Home, Boyertown, as a student funeral trainee, since February 2012. Jennifer was currently Deputy Grand Matron of Region 13A, Order of the Eastern Star, Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania and a member of Faith Chapter #444, OES, Boyertown, where she was a two-time Past Matron. Jennifer was also a line officer for Region 13A Past and Present Officers' Club, OES. She was Historian on the Board of Directors of the Trappe Historical Society, where she was also a docent. She was a volunteer at Hopewell Furnace National Historical Site, where she worked with the curating staff. Jennifer was also alumni president of the Class of 2000, Wilson College. Jen was an avid softball and volleyball player, playing both sports, plus basketball in college, earning All-Conference softball honors in 1999. She was a lifelong Phillies and Patriots fan, and enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, friends and beloved beagle, Munchkin and cats Cleo and Anthony, and studying the Civil War. Jennifer's quick wit and loving personality will be greatly missed. A viewing will be held Monday, September 23, from 6-8 p.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA. An Eastern Star service will be held Monday evening at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday, September 24, from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 45 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown, PA, with a funeral service following at 11 a.m., with Rev. John G. Pearson officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Hill Church Cemetery.
