John G. Hrivnak

JOHN G. HRIVNAK, 89, OF SPRING CITY John G. Hrivnak, 89, husband of Pearl E. (Plumley) Hrivnak, of Spring City, PA passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at home. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Majersky) Hrivnak. Mr. Hrivnak graduated from Phoenixville High School. He owned and operated Hrivnak Motor Company in Phoenixville, selling new vehicles for the Chrysler Corporation, Dodge, DeSoto, and Plymouth for many years with his wife. Mr. Hrivnak had a great love of collies, and was an avid Phillies fan, holding season tickets for both the Phillies and the Eagles. Fond memories included having players back to their home following games for meals and entertainment. In addition to his wife of 63 years, Mr. Hrivnak is survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 148 Church Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Phoenixville.
