JOHN H. WIEDER, 92, OF PHOENIXVILLE John H. Wieder, 92, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 24, 2014 in Seasons Hospice. He was reunited with his beloved wife of 67 years, Doretha A. (Hackenburg) Wieder. Born in McClure, PA, he was the son of the late Howard and Sarah (Snook) Wieder. John served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked in Farming and then Maintenance at the Kimberton Farms School for 45 years. He was a longtime member of Cedarville United Methodist Church in North Coventry, PA. He played in various Dart Leagues and was an avid Tennis player. He also enjoyed gardening and hunting. Surviving are sons, Dalton and Sylvia Wieder of Pottstown, PA, and Dennis Wieder of Mechanicsville, PA; daughter, Judy and Reggie Ryberg of Kimberton, PA; six grandchildren: Sandi, Dennis, Amber, Alicia, Nancy and Mary, and two great-grandchildren: Kylie and Leah. He was preceded in death by sisters and brothers: Hilda, Harry, Ruth, Mae, Sarah, Savannah, Richard, Betty, Gertrude and Carrie. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in Centennial Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1330 Hares Hill Road, Kimberton, PA, on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Brownback's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Spring City, PA. Relatives and Friends may call at the church on Monday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice, 700 South Henderson Road, Suite 225, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
