John J. Caulfield

JOHN J. CAULFIELD, 76, OF POTTSTOWN John J. Caulfield, 76, of Pottstown, husband of Nancy (Naughton) Caulfield, passed away Thursday at Life Quest Nursing Center. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Francis X. and Anne (Cronin) Caulfield. John worked as a Data Processor for Laventhal & Howarth, Inc. for 25 years and later at Richter's Stationary Supply Co. for five years as a part-time driver. Surviving along with his wife are daughters, Terri Payne, wife of Jim of Upper Pottsgrove; Jackie Laurence, wife of George of Quakertown, and Beth Oakes of Florida; grandchildren, Kristyn and Jacob Oakes, Ryan Beach, and Chelsea and Casey Payne; great-grandchildren, Ayden Oakes and Hayley Frost; brother, Gerald Caulfield; sister, Nancy Poole, and mother-in-law, Thelma Naughton. Along with his parents, John is predeceased by his brother, Francis X. Caulfield. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 12:30 p.m. at St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church, 200 Indian Spring Road, Boyertown, PA 19512, with Fr. Marty Kern officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. at the Church. Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, is in charge of arrangements.
