JOHN W. TROOP, 15, OF DOUGLASSVILLE John W. Troop, 15, of Douglassville, passed away Wednesday in Douglassville. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of Douglass Troop and Joanne (Allsop) Troop, Douglassville. He attended Daniel Boone High School and was a wrestler. John worked on Reverend John Kolle's farm. He loved fishing, hunting, boating, tubing, splitting wood, and anything to do with the outdoors. He was a member of Harmonyville Church of the Brethren. Surviving beside his parents is a stepmother Laura E. (Wallace) Troop, Douglassville; a stepfather Barry F. Troop, Jr., Douglassville; a paternal grandfather John C. Troop, Elverson; maternal grandparents William and Janet Allsop, Phoenixville; a sister Jessica W. Troop, Douglassville; a half brother Barry F. Troop, III, Douglassville; four stepsisters Harlie Troop, Douglassville, Kara Viola, Douglassville, Chelsea wife of Ben Hayes, Pottstown, Jenna Viola and her companion John Wesley, Coatesville; a stepbrother Gabriel Moss, Douglassville He was predeceased by a paternal grandmother Gladys Troop. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend John Kolle. Burial will be in St. Peter's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Knuaertown. There will be a viewing Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
