Joseph P. Panarello

JOSEPH P. PANARELLO, 96, OF DOUGLASSVILLE Joseph P. Panarello, 96, of Douglassville, formerly of Gilbertsville, widower of Ruth A. (Kumpf) Panarello, died Thursday at Kindred Transitional Care in Wyomissing. Born in Moorestown, NJ, he was a son of the late Paul Panarello and the late Sara (Travia) Panarello. Joseph worked for Kingston Trappe Rock in Runnemede, New Jersey, as a heavy equipment operator retiring at 55. He was a member of Our Gang at the Harleysville Bank Travel Club. He was an avid gardner and handyman earning him the name "Fix it Joe". Surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one stepson, Ronald; two sisters, Annie and Mary, and two brothers, Lewis and Mary. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Pottstown. Arrangements are by the Morrell Funeral Home Inc., (www.MorrellFuneralHome.com).
