Mabel E. Weidner

Mabel E. (Levengood) Weidner, 90, of Boyertown, formerly of Lower Pottsgrove, widow of Charles B. Weidner, died Saturday at Chestnut Knoll, Boyertown.
Born in Pottstown, Pa., she was a daughter of the late William Levengood and the late Esther (Spacht) Levengood.
Mabel worked as a secretary for the former Doehlar-Jarvis Co., Stowe, for 30 years and part-time as an administrative assistant for Investors Trust Co., Wyomissing, retiring in 1999.
She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Pottstown.
Mabel was a member of the Business and Professional Woman Club, Pottstown, and the Pottstown Doe Club.
She is survived by two sons Charles D. Weidner and his wife Patti, Las Vegas, David L. Weidner and his wife Cindy, Stowe; a daughter Joan L. Drumheller , fiancée of David Heydt, Boyertown; a sister Marquerite Jenkins, Sanford, N.C.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be the Rev. Barry Moyer. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be a viewing Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
